people creating commUNITY
The semester of Fall 2009 I participated in a semester long group effort to design a multimedia ideological campaign for the undergrad course "Creating Persuasive Campaigns. I worked with three other students from August to December doing market research and designing ads, an image and an identity to eventually give our final presentation for the Communication Arts department at the end of the year. Our campaign was voted best in the class by the faculty and were invited to present it again by the head of the department to the 100 level Communication Arts class that presents sample lectures from each professor in the department, so as to help students choose which fields they might like to learn more about. Along with doing the photography for the entire campaign, I designed the website (click the link below to visit) and also did any required photo editing and some print design work. The people creating commUNITY campaign urges college students in Oneonta, NY to choose local businesses over chain business when making consumer decisions.
